Pharmaceutical Sales Manager's Corner

As a pharmaceutical sales rep and trainer for many years, one of the most challenging things about my job was to find ways to bring value to the medical offices I and my trainees called on. I found that many Reps called on the same offices for years, but knew very little about the people who worked there. I also observed that the most successful Reps found creative ways to get to know every member of the medical office staff and then were able to leverage those relationships in a way that produced more sales.

Lunch and Earn would like to offer you several tools that will aid you in helping your Reps be more focused on creating value in their medical offices. The following tools are creative and fun for Reps and medical professionals and give your Reps something new that shows they are thinking about the needs of not only the physicians in the medical office, but also the medical office staff.

Tool 1: Lunch and Earn's Medical Profiles

  • Our medical office profiles gives many Reps the excuse to learn more.  Imagine your Reps going into a familiar office and telling them that they found a system online where medical offices could tell their Reps what they wanted for lunch and other important rules and information.  Then imagine that the Rep tells the office that the tool reminded the Rep of how important it was to provide good customer service.  The Rep then pulls out a print off of the profile form with as many fields filled in as they know about the office.  They check with the office to see if they are right about the answers and ask the ones they are unsure of.  The Rep has just gained invaluable knowledge about that office all while building rapport.  The Rep tells the medical office that they would like to put their information online, so they can change anything anytime.  When the Rep does this, the medical office get sent a gift from Lunch and Earn and instructions on how to edit their profile.  This service is free to Reps and medical professionals. 

Tool 2: Lunch and Earn's Medical Office Preference Game

  • Reps compare their receipts to our records, ensuring proper management of their corporate expenses.
